The Nigerian Association of Delmarva (NAD) is a non-profit cultural and community organization dedicated to promoting unity, preserving Nigerian heritage, and supporting the well-being of Nigerians and friends of Nigeria throughout the Delmarva Peninsula.
Founded on the principles of Unity, Culture, and Service, NAD provides a platform where individuals and families from diverse backgrounds can connect, celebrate their heritage, and contribute positively to the communities they call home.
Through cultural celebrations, family events, youth programs, educational initiatives, and charitable outreach efforts, NAD continues to strengthen relationships among members while sharing the beauty and richness of Nigerian culture with the broader Delmarva community.

The Nigerian Association of Delmarva (NAD) extends its deepest condolences to the Acholonu-Benedict family on the passing of their beloved husband, father, and community leader, Sir Emmanuel Acholonu-Benedict.
Sir Emmanuel's life was marked by service, leadership, faith, and dedication to family and community. His legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.

The Nigerian Association of Delmarva proudly recognizes Dr. Paulinus Chigbu, a distinguished scholar, researcher, educator, and community leader whose work has positively impacted both the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and the Delmarva community.
Through decades of leadership in marine and environmental sciences, Dr. Chigbu has advanced research, mentored future scientists, and expanded educational opportunities for students across the region.
His dedication to excellence, mentorship, and community service continues to inspire future generations while bringing pride to the Nigerian community throughout Delmarva.
